Flat Bottom Grain Bin Project in Honduras
Grain bin (also called grain silo) is widely used for wheat, rice, barley and other grain storage. The grain bin project includes 5 units of 3,500m3 flat bottom silos. Flat bottom silos are commonly used steel silos o storage bulk grains and other materials. Large volume storage is its typical feature, the storage volume of this type grain storage silo ranges from 39 m³ to 29726 m³. Grain bin is often erected on flat or conical concrete foundations for long-term storage of large quantities of grain, seeds, pellets and granular products, etc. All Shelley brand flat bin for grain storage are designed, manufactured and installed in accordance with D-4097 or ASTM D-3299 standards.

The grain silo body is made of 275g/m2 coating mass galvanized steel sheets. The grain storage Silo roof and other silo accessories are made of carbon steel with painting.
All SHELLEY Brand grain storage bin sidewall is roll-formed using high quality galvanized steel sheets. Prime high tensile steel up to 450 MPa. Thicker sidewall steel sheet allows us to provide larger silos with our designs. The capacity of Flat bottom galvanized grain silo ranges from 39 m3 to 29726 m3.
The connecting screw bolts are served with round galvanized steel washers, the connecting holes are served with age-resistant and water-proof daub belts that are for aviation special purpose. These plates and stiffeners are connected by high-strength screw bolts to keep the flat silo strong and durable. The capacity of the bucket elevator and conveyors are 200t/h, the catwalk was equipped to support the conveyor and easy for service. The sweeping auger is used for grain discharging on the grain silo bottom. We designed the full floor ventilation system for the flat bottom silos, so the corn in the grain silo could keep safety storage.
