Storage silo (also called steel silo, corn silo) is the efficient and economical facilities to handle your grains, which offer protection from outside insects and other affects as well as provide handling management conveniently. Corn silo made with hot-dip galvanized steel sheet by Shelley engineering had been exported to over 40 countries.

Our SHANXI customer ordered one set of steel storage silo for corn storage. Now the storage silo was finished manufacturing and delivered to SHANXI for installation.

The corn silo is one set of 700m3 hopper bottom silo for corn storage. The corn silo diameter is 4.5m, steel silo total height is 11.13m, the steel silo volume is 129m3, and the steel silo bottom angel is 45 degree.

The corn silo roof and corn silo body sheets are made of galvanized corrugated steel sheets with 275g/m2 galvanizing. The storage silo bottom and silo legs are made of carbon steel with hot-dip galvanizing, which is 400g/m2 hot dip galvanizing steel.

In the grain silo system, bucket elevator for grain vertical transportation, drag conveyor under the silos bottom for millet discharging. Also there are ventilation system, temperature monitoring system and level indicator for the millet storage insulation silo.

Shelley Engineering sent 5 experienced workers to the corn silo site for installation, now the corn storage silo installation will be finished soon.

Steel Rice Silo was shipped to South Korea

Rice silo (also called rice storage silo, rice bin, paddy silo) made with hot-dip galvanized steel plates is widely used for bulk rice storage in mill plants and other industries because of its large capacity and low cost.

Our customer from South Korea ordered 4 units of 90m³  grain storage silo for his paddy rice storage project on May, 2017. Now all the steel silo parts and its related equipment like bucket elevator, grain cleaners for this rice silo project were finished production and ready for shipment to South Korea.

The diameter of each paddy silo is 4.5m, the total height of this paddy silo is 8.78m, and the paddy silo hopper is 45 degrees. The paddy silo is  the kind of hopper bottom silo made of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet with 275g/m²coating mass which can be used for more than 25 years.

We will send two technicians to the steel rice silo site in South Korea to guide the installation, and the customer will arrange at least 5 workers to install the rice silo with us. It will take us about 2 weeks to finish the installation  for the 4 set rice silos.

Feed Silo Project in Changzhou

Feed silo (also called feed storage silo, feed bin, gravity feed bins) is widely used steel silo to store small capacity bulk pelleted products and grains. Shelley Brand feed silo is ofter designed with 60° hopper bottom allowing the stored products to discharge freely through gravity from the silo into a bag, barrow, conveyor or truck whilst ensuring that the stored products in the finest qualified condition. 

Two sets feed silos to store feed pellets with discharging valves were finished installation in Changzhou after 8 days intensive construction by 4 technicians from Shelley Engineering.

 

The capacity of each feed silo volume is 90m³, it can store about 90m³ to 95m³ feed pellets and other material like plastic, PVC, PP, resin pellets, etc. For each steel feed storage silo, the diameter is 4.5m, the ring beam height is 3.19m, eave height is 7.725m, total height of this feed pellets bin is 8.78m.

On the feed silo roof, there are two natural vents to circulate air, one manhole to observe the grain pellets condition inside the silos;

On feed silo body, there is one silo door and platform, and vertical ladder from ground to the storage bin top;

The feed silo hopper with 45 degree discharging angle, this allow the feed grain pellets flow automatically from the silo by gravity to the feed processing plant through the conveyors;

All  feed silos roof and the feed silo body are made of hot-dip galvanized steel sheets, steel silo bottom parts are made of carbon steel with silver painting ( aluminum paint coating).

Grain Silo Project was Successfully Running in Feed Mill Plant

Grain Silo (also called grain bin) is the efficient and economical facility to handle your grains which offer protection from outside insects and other affects as well as provide handling management conveniently. Grain silo is widely applied for the storage of grains (sunflower seeds, soy, maize, sorghum, rice, industrial products and other products, etc) and feed pellets for animal, poultry and fish that require special storage conditions The grain storage silo is widely used in poultry farm, rice mill, flour mill, soybean-oil mill, animal feed mill plant and brewery plant.

The grain silo project for feed mill plant was run in the branch factory of Hualong Group, which is located in Heze City, Shandong Province. Hualong Groups Ltd is one of the biggest conglomerates in feed mill industry. This turn key grain silo project include 2 sets of 1,100 tons hopper bottom silo. The hopper silo system has been successfully running for over 1 year, our customer was satisfied with the grain storage silo project.

 

This grain silo system include the dumping pit, grain cleaning system, grain dusting system, 2 units 1100 tons grain storage silos, elevator, conveyor etc al. The 2 units grain silos are hopper silos, each volume is 1539 m³, calculation capacity is 1000ton based on maize, soybean or wheat density is 0.72t/m³, the ring beam height is 5.89m, eave height is 22.745m, total height is  25.08m, the grain silo hopper angle is 45 degree. Total grain storage silo adopt inside stiffeners structure. The grain silos store the unprocessed grains or maize, after maize discharge from grain bin the conveyor will transport the maize to the feed production line.

All the grain pellets storage silo parts are connected by carbon steel connection and high yeild bolts.

Flour Bin was Delivered to Chongqing

Flour Bin (also called powder silo or flour silo) is widely used to store and discharge flour and other powder materials such as cement or PFA (Pulverized Fuel Ash). Powder or flour is not easy to store and deliver, so the steel flour storage bin is your good choice to hold and discharge weighty powder materials automatically.  Flour bin has the characteristics of lower cost, shorter construction time and unloading materials easily.  The capacity of Shelley steel flour storage storage silo ranges from 20m³ to 800m³.

Our customer from Chongqing City ordered  20 sets of 175 m³ powder storage silo for flour storage, this powder silo project has about total 2000tons capacity. Shelley Grain Silo Company fabricated these flour bins according to customer requirements, our flour bin is also widely used for wheat, corn and other grain storage.

The flour silos for this project are all steel square powder silos, the dimension of the powder square silo is 4.5m*4.5m*12.94m(LWH).  The powder silo hopper of the square powder bin is 60 degrees angle which is easy for material discharging. All the flour bin parts are made of painted carbon steel. The galvanized square flour silo is also available.

All parts and accessories for the flour bin project were successfully manufactured in our steel silo factory and ready for shipping to the destination. The parts of the pictures showed were the first batch among the 3 batches.
