Vibrating Screen for Grain Storage Silos

The driven mechanism is in the center of the machine, the entire screen can be rotated in a pure plane so that the same screening effect is obtained on each part of the screen surface. The machine drive is simple, only one belt will connect the belt wheel of eccentric drive device and the belt wheel of drive motor pulley, vibration frequency of 300 r / min, with a clean-up sieve frame makes the screen to be effectively cleaned, thus ensuring the screening efficiency and screening quality.

Description

Grain cleaning machine (also called Grain Pre Cleaner) is the important grain cleaners, it is designed and manufactured by Shelley Engineering for simple, fast removal of light and heavy (rubble) impurities from grain, corn, soybeans, wheat, rice or fuel whose particles sizes and weighs are different than impurity particle, all the grain and the impunity dust are inputed into the rotating screen cylinder,The inner mesh and the out mesh have different diameters, the grains are isolated and flow out through different exit from the dusts in the continuous screening process.  The grain cleaner can also be used for screening soybean meal, soybean meal blocking the bulk through continuous rotation, making the soybean meal block decreasing in monocular state.This kind of grain cleaning equipment reduces the emission of dust into the atmosphere.

Description

Drag conveyor (also called drag chain conveyor) is one of the commonly used material handing equipment for grain storage silos, it is a light enmasse conveyor which is widely applied for food or grain handling. The drag conveyor is a continuous conveying transportation equipment with a rectangular cross-section connected with the moving chain. Drag chain conveyor is widely used to transport the particles and powdered material horizontally, it also can be used for transport obliquely and vertically.

The drag conveyor does not produce dust and cause no environmental pollution because of the whole sealing of the closed trough, so it can improve the worker operating conditions and can’t cause food scatter when used in the outside. It is also free from weather conditions.Meanwhile, It is capable of executing both single point and multi-point feeding and discharging. In some conditions, it has some prominent advantages for the toxic, explosive, high temperature materials transportation. It can also be applied for flying material transportation to protect working conditions  and prevent environment pollution.

Powder silos from Shelley Engineering

Powder silos (Powder bins) are widely used to hold and discharge flour and other powder materials such as cement and PFA (Pulverized Fuel Ash). Powder is not easy to store and deliver. Steel powder storage silo is your good choice to hold and discharge weighty powder materials. Flour is such kind of powder as the basic ingredient for many food products and stored in silos up to 20 meters high. The filling and emptying of powder silo is often performed by pneumatic systems that transport the stored powder from the large external powder bins and deposit them in smaller holding vessels for further processing. The filling and emptying processes are controlled by reliable level measurement. Pressure monitoring is also required in the pneumatic conveying pipelines.  Elevators or conveyors can also be used to handling  powder transporting.Powder steel silo is your good choice to hold and discharge weighty powder materials.  Powder storage silos have the characteristics of lower cost, shorter construction time and unloading materials easily.  The capacity of Shelley steel powder storage silos ranges from 20m³ to 800m³.

Powder silo (powder bin) includes the silo roof, silo body and silo hopper with legs. Powder silo roof, body, hopper are made of carbon steel, with food grade painting, make sure the safety of the flour; On silo roof, there are flour inlets, safety valve, Vibration filter, Explosion-proof vent, manhole. On silo body, there are ladder, ladder safety guard, level indicator.   Powder silo leg is made of round pipe or H beam steel (with normal painting), based on the silo size. According to the customer’s requirement, Powder silo also can be made with stainless steel.

Feed silos (also called feed bins, gravity feed bins) are the steel silos with 60° cone bottom which are commonly used to storage small capacity pelleted products and grains, allowing them to discharge freely through gravity from the silo into a bag, barrow, conveyor or truck whilst ensuring that the stored products are in the finest qualified condition. 

All our feed silos are made with corrugated galvanized steel. The feed bin bottom is designed with with 60° cone to let the stored pellets flow out freely without fragmentized. The Galvanization of our silos is Z600g/m2 in accordance with UNE-EN 36130, which make them durable and weatuer resistant. The galvanizing sheet is 275g/㎡as standard design, according to some customers special request, 350g/㎡and 400g/㎡are options for their needs. Feed silos can help you get maximum efficiency when loading and unloading stored products. They are also protect the inside storage away from outside insects and danger. Feed silos can be integrated with automatic feeding systems for a variety of livestock industries.

Structures of Feed Silos

Feed silo is mainly composed of silo roof, silo body and cone bottom.  

The feed bin body includes the wall plate, supporting column, ladders on the silo body, protect handrail around ladders, silo door and door platform (based on silo diameter and height).  

If the silo diameter is less than 3.6m (1.8m and 2.7m diameter), the silo roof can be open by the pulling bar from the ground. If the silo diameter is more than 3.6m, the silo roof is assembled with radiated beam, manhole, ladder, ladder safety or roof  handrail. 

Silo cone bottom is made of galvanized steel sheets, with 60° angle, so feed can flow easily by gravity; If the silo diameter is or less than 3.6m, the steel hopper sheet and legs will be made of galvanized steel sheet. If the silo diameter is or more than 3.6m, the steel hopper sheet and legs will be made of H beam steel with painted or galvanized.

Optional conveying system for feed silos

Four kinds of conveying system can be selected to handle stored materials for feed silos.

The first choice is pneumatic conveying system, which is effective and space saving, and widely selected for fine materials, like animal feed, wood pellets, etc.

The second choice is wheeled or fixed auger (Screw conveyor), whose structure is simple and operation is very convenient.

The third choice is elevator, among them bucket elevator is commonly applied for large capacity storage.

The last selected handling equipment is belt elevator for bulk materials.

Rice Husk Silo Site Visiting in Myanmar

One Myanmar customer purchased 2 sets of 730m3 rice husk silo and four grain conveyors, three grain bucket elevators from TSE company for his bulk rice husk storage on August 31th, 2017.

Now this steel silo project for rice husk storage had been being established in Yangon, Myanmar. TSE CEO Shelley now is in Myanmar for checking the installation progress and site condition. Everything there goes fine and the customer high evaluated TSE installation leader, he is pretty satisfied with the installation working guided by him.
